Groups
Nighttime
Cancer Support Group
Sessions often include a speaker
and cover a variety of topics
related to living with cancer
and its treatment. Meetings are
open to anyone interested in learning
more about cancer or oneself,
regardless of where they receive
medical care. Meetings are held
on the first and third Wednesday
of the month from 7 –
8:30 p.m. at the Carle Cancer
Center.
Daytime Cancer
Support Group
This is an open forum group designed for anyone living
with cancer and/or their loved ones. Meetings are held on
the second Wednesday of the month from 12 –
1 p.m. in the Lauhoff Room
at the Forum at Carle. Lunch is
provided.
The Women’s
Room Cancer Support Group
This group is open to any woman
with a female-specific cancer
(breast, ovarian, cervical, uterine,
etc.). Sessions are held on the
fourth Tuesday of the month from
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. in the
Lauhoff Room at the Forum at Carle.
Lunch is provided.
Info 2 Know Education Series
This group will provides a relaxed community setting in
which breast cancer patients - along with caregivers, family
members, friends and anyone else interested in breast cancer
- can discover strategies for optimizing health, enhancing
well-being and managing stress while battling this disease.
Each session will feature a guest speaker who will bring you
up to date on the latest research and wellness tips before
answering questions from the audience. Sessions are held on
the first Thursday of every month in the Fritz Conference
Room (C) in the lower level of The Forum at Carle from 12 -
1 p.m. Lunch will be served so we ask that you reserve your
space each month by calling Donna Hamm at (217) 326-MBCI
